Assetto Corsa Competizione (PS4) - Fanatec Recommended Settings

General Notes:
- The settings below are considered to be reasonable baseline values for Assetto Corsa Competizione (PS4). They might not suit all tastes and driving styles, but they are a good starting point.
- In order to apply the suggested settings correctly, it is important to assign both the Tuning Menu values AND the suggested In-Game settings together.
- For the Podium Series settings, it is assumed that the Torque Key is being used.
- For wheels with Multi-Position Switches, the 'Encoder' mode is supported (wheels with the encoder option can be left on Auto). The full multi-position input (constant/pulse) only works on the PC version of ACC.
- The in-game Force Feedback 'Gain' setting has the biggest impact on signal strength (and clipping). Reasonable default values have been suggested below, but the signal will vary depending on the car, car setup, tyre condition, track condition, etc. It can be useful to check the 'FF' meter in the HUD while driving to fine-tune the Gain setting to avoid too much clipping.
- Due to the latency caused by the 30fps target on the PS4 version of ACC, the force feedback is prone to oscillation. This behaviour can be mitigated by reducing overall Force Feedback strength (both the FF setting in the Tuning Menu, and the Gain setting in-game), increasing the Natural Damper, Friction, and Inertia (DD1 PS4), running lower/negative Drift values (CSL Elite WB+). Reasonable values are suggested below, but this is worth experimenting with.
- 1-to-1 rotation of the steering wheel currently requires manual adjustment of 'SEN' per car. The easiest way to do this is to bring up the 'SEN' setting, rotate your steering wheel through 180 degrees (while stationary in the car), and then adjust the SEN via the FunkySwitch/D-pad until the in-game steering wheel aligns with yours.
- Ensure you are using the latest wheel base firmware.
- The Tuning Menu settings for the Podium wheel base includes the new features introduced with the Performance Update (Driver version 352 or higher).

i have the McLaren GT3 wheel and even with the encoder set to auto it does not work. It recognizes it only if you switch between position 1 and 2 On the controller setup page, and it’s hit or miss if it actually works in the game. Any advice?
Hi Dom,
Why on PS4 the FF is only on 38 while the X-box is on 75? Does the in game signal strength changes between PS4, PC and X-Box even if it is the same game? (I know it sounds a bit of stupid question but trying to understand how it works 😇)
Yes there is a big difference in signal strength, the Xbox One version is wrong and will be receiving an update (please check the note on the Xbox One Recommended Settings).
Thanks Dom
Hi Christopher, the McLaren wheel's Multi-Position Switches don't have an encoder mode, so this will not work in your case. I will adjust the sentence to make that clearer.
Thanks Dominic. Works perfect on my F1 rim. Cheers
Is 365 latest beta driver?
These settings for CSL Elite Wheel Base + are also valid for the CSL Elite Wheel Base PS4? Thanks you
The CSL Elite Wheel Base + is the PS4 Wheel Base. So yes, very valid I would say. ;-)
I actually like the DRI -5 setting Fanatec recommends for ACC and that really suprises me, because in other games setting DRI to -5 makes the wheel/steering feel sluggish. I'm using these settings on the latest beta V365 with the included firmwares on a CSL Elite + Wheel Base with a P1 rim if anybody wonders. I think you need these latest firmwares to make the FFB on ACC feel firm/good on PS4.
And thank you Dominic for sharing these setting with us.
Thank you
Podium Racing Wheel F1, V356, PS4 Pro 1.03
Still same problems when start game and first time go to track. Gas pedal rumble all the time and FFB is weak. Re-starting base and everything is fine.
It would be also nice if game developers could use ABS and TC for rumbling motors of V3, like PCars2 do.
Hi, I’m using same peripherals and after updating driver V365 and latest firmware(base, motor, pedals) it works fine without restarting base.

Okay nice, thanks for info!
Then I wish V366 come asap, because I use also Universal Hub and V365 have mapping problem for that.
Oh really, I didn’t know that. Developer saying acc will be updated soon that includes performance improvement on PS4 pro. I’m really looking forward to it:))
Got yesterday 1.03 patch.
Graphics are downgraded (blurry, maby 1080p or under with PS4 Pro / LG OLED77C9), fps is better.
However great game!

Oh that’s what I was waiting. Graphics can’t be helped but FPS is more important in my opinion.
thank you
Hello, are your formula wheel V2 vibromotors work on ACC ps4?
Anyone else that cannot use on the PS4 ACC the two 12-way Multi-Position Switches with Encoder Mode of the BME?
Tried all possible settings on the MPS but in game when assigning the buttons are not registering.
Same with the One FunkySwitch (7-way joystick/encoder) and the left and right top paddles of the APM.
Using Podium F1 wheel with Porsche GT3. Running the 356 driver.
Hi, when abs in game works the wheel shakes. I’m not sure but it may be not from vibromotors but usual motor. And you can use vibromotors with base’s BLI settings.
Thanks for reply. mine doesn't. I can only hear my tires skidding to understand abs limit. I may try to flash the firmware... v365
Maurice Böschen Can I have your expertise on this one? 😇
I have a fanatec csl elite ps4 trying to set up with assetto corsa, it’s my first fanatec and just got it yesterday, but I don’t have any option to set up any BLI and any brake force in any game
heeelp :(
