Fanalab LIN Setting

I just updated my DD2 to V356, and Fanalab to 1.23. Now that I can set Linear on my wheel base, when using iRacing, is it necessary to check the Linear box in the options menu there, or am I best off letting the Fanatec software handle this?

  • The iRacing linearity setting is different to the wheel base setting. Therefore the way they are both stated in the Recommended Settings page is valid.

I suggest to always set Linearity in the iRacing options to ON but disable it in the Tuning Menu as it just limits your available Trq range (basically limits DD2 to 20Nm Peaks and DD1 to 15Nm Peaks).

  • Thank you very much, I appreciate it.
