Forza Horizon 4 (PC) - Fanatec Recommended Settings

edited June 2019 in Forza Horizon
General Notes:
- The settings below are considered to be reasonable baseline values for Forza Horizon 4 (PC). They might not suit all tastes and driving styles, but they are a good starting point.

- In order to apply the suggested settings correctly, it is important to assign both the Tuning Menu values AND the suggested In-Game settings together.

- For the Podium Series settings, it is assumed that the Torque Key is being used.

- While Forza Horizon 4 offers relaxed handling and forgiving physics, these settings are intended for players who want the most realistic driving experience possible with their Fanatec hardware in this game. Cockpit view is recommended.

- 'Steering' and 'Damage & Tyre Wear' should be set to 'Simulation' in the Difficulty Menu.

- Please ensure you are using the latest firmware for all Fanatec devices.

  • I am unable to bind anything in game with dd1 and directly connected v3 pedals as it instantly binds device 1 axis 1 whatever I do. Any ideas?

Are you running in compatibility mode (V2.5) ? Horizon does not support the DD yet. I would connect the pedals directly to the base using the incl new rj12 cable.

I do use the new cable but didn't know about the compatibility mode. Thanks, will check that out!
  • As many others not able to get the DD2 working in Forza Horizon4. It just not recognize the wheel at all, so not able to bind any of the buttons. Do you have a solution or still working on it?
  • Hello all. I'm having issues binding the wheel and pedals in Forza Horizon 4. I'm using a DD2 with the ClubSport Steering Wheel and Universal Xbox Hub. Firmware is updated. When I try to bind any of the controls the game immediately detects and binds "Device 1: Axis 1".
