  • Strange you say that about the Elite. I had found ours to be very smooth. If the new V2 is that much better I cant wait till we get ours.

    December 12 - Second invitation code received

    No tracking number received as of today (December 16).  I sent fanatec a message asking if my package has a tracking number.  Has anyone else in U.S. experienced this with their order?  I fear my package may be lost?

    I ordered on October 6 and received my shipping notice today. However, I have yet to receive a tracking number. If I remember correctly, I don't remember getting a tracking number for any of my purchases from them in the past. The items seem to just randomly show up.
  • I received my V2 this afternoon, I already have a V1 which is 5 months old but had to buy this... all I can say is WOW, the V2 is simply amazing, the FFB is so strong and in iracing the wheel now feels so realistic, Thankyou Fanatec, well worth the 3 month wait

    I'm looking forward to hearing what you think, I'm not saying the Elite was "notchy" when I had it, but after the V2 that's the impression I'm left with. I sold my Elite, so can't back to back, but I used it less than a week ago.

    Note: please install the driver before connecting the Clubsport Wheel Base V2 to your PC. 

    however, the site to download the drivers 2.05 states: 
    Please connect all Fanatec devices to your PC and power them on before you install the new drivers! 

    what install method have you guys tried for the V2?

    My Clubsport V2 wheel base and Porsche 918 RSR wheel arrived in Texas today and the quality is definitely a lot higher than that of the CSR-E.  I'm very happy with my purchase.

  • Hello everyone,
    On tuesday i received 4 out of 5 parcels.
    guess what i am missing the club sport wheel...(pretty much useless without it)

    I sent Fanatec an email as to why you  would send 5 items loose and not combine in larger box.
    The thing that really annoys me there is a load cell (box size= 70mm x 40mm) and an extension cable that were classed as two of the separate items.

    Guess what i am still waiting 4 months now.
    Apparently the item is lost......

    the full manual does not specify which sequence to use as in my post above.  which sequence did you go with?  I would assume it will be fine either way....

    Personally I think you should install the drivers first so Windows doesn't try installing it's own drivers when you connect the wheel.  At least that's what I did.  After you install the drivers and connect the wheel go into the Game Controller Properties Window for your Clubsport wheel and update the firmware.  The new firmware update system is a million times better than what they've had previously.  That may not be new to other people but it's new to me.  I quit updating the firmware on my CSR-E a long time ago.

  • I'm in Texas.  They're using Fed Ex, at least mine came Fed Ex yesterday . I got a tracking number the same day it shipped.

    When was your order date? I ordered Oct 8th, website updated as shipped on Dec 11th and got tracking info on Dec 12th - US order

    Anyone in the US that ordered a CSS SQ shifter get an update on when it will be shipping?

    Here is response I got for the SQ shifter.

    Fanatec is having trouble with the port in LA and they say there hoping to ship out this week.

    hey guys, another dumb question (something I excel at...) on calibrating the gears on the clubsport shifter H-pattern.  The manual shows the formula rim, but I have the Universal Hub and there is no "START" button on this Hub.  Do I press the TUNING button + Any BUTTON on the universal hub for the calibration the gears sequence shown in the CSS manual on page 4?

    Not a complaint just a suggestion. 

    Decided to get into the sim racing and pulled the pin on the choice of gear. Fanatec fit the bill. Got the invite code from fellow Aussie on here and ordered the parts instantly 13/12/14. Payment made and verified. ETA for shipment 31/03/2015 which would mean hopeful delivery sometime in April!? If by some chance this was to happen any time prior to 31/03/2015 i would consider myself blessed. Looking forward to it fitted out on my rig. :)

    I'm a bit disappointed of the wait and hate the fact that we have to wait for all three different items until the wheel base is back in stock. the rim the shifter are available now/earlier yet my total package will be bundled and delivered at the furthest ETA from purchase because of the base.

    Even though the rim and the shifter might be useless prior to having the base i still think these items should be mailed out as soon as they are available. the full payment has been taken and as a bit of a sign of appreciation and compensation the supplier should consider splitting orders and giving us those items right away. I dont think the demand for FANATEC product will slow down and this will leave us exposed to some rims going out of stock by the time others are in.

    Sure all this split shipment payments might be a bit of a cost but i certainly think this would be better then offering some discount on products and putting customers on a 6 month + waiting lists. 

    We purchased these goodies to use them not to check on online shipping status.

    Again this is not a complaint just some suggestion,
