the way the 2, 12position rotaries are coded (as individual buttons) sort of screws us over.
unless the racing game has individual programmable assignments for each engine map, or each TC step, we cant use them for the intended function.
They need to be coded like the twist function on the funky switch. rotating left is one button, right is another. that way they are usable since most games have options like 'increase engine map' or 'decrease ABS'.
@Thomas, is there a way to change this, or are they any plans to update the firmware accordingly?
Good news: you can map knobs/rotaries to TC or ABS in Assetto Corsa Competizione, quick howto:

Thats great to hear. Glad theres finally a title out there that can utlize the rotary switches.
Any updates on a fix for the shifting issues on the McL wheel?
iRacing already had partial support, but they are working on full support, which could come in the next build. The shift issues on the RMcL are still being investigated. If you are having problems I recommend that you contact support.
