My CSW V2 wheel has now lost all communication with every wheel I own, BMW, F1 and Podium Hub. On start up I get no LED on screen of each wheel and the 4 leds around start button blink red in rotation? I have tried Driver/Firmware 328/627 and 346/662 still no read out on wheels. This all started when I recieved my Podium Hub August 04 2020, Before that I never had a problem. I just wanted to be able to attach a drift wheel to my CSW V2 but now nothing works? I have sent two tickets but nothing?

Ok I have had success, after clearing all traces of the wheelbase from USB Devices, I then fully uninstalled all Fanatec drivers and reinstalled them and plugged in my wheel, the UART was now connected on com6 not com3 as before.
I erased my wheel motor calibration and then calibrated motor sensor, wheel sensors calibration was also flashing every time I tried to update the motor firmware so this time I also calibrated wheel center.
I tried to update the rim first and that went with success, I didnt get the com3 port error.
I then attempted the motor firmware and success again.
Happy days 😁

Oh yes, USBDeview is a VERY powerful tool which also helped me several times already, good suggestion!
Is it possible to make the Porsche or CSR Sequential shifters be recognized as... Sequential shifters, instead of being recognized as the paddles shifters?
I tried this on my CSL Elite 1.1 - it nearly killed the wheel! On power up, it calibrated violently, then started vibrating like on a FFB test but at max power!
I had to shut it off. Upon power up, the device is now not recognised in the new driver, so I am attempting the repair.
Not impressed! If I was updating a driver, it should be able to withstand an in-place update (install the new driver over the old)!
Ugh, I was really hoping this new driver would work, but nope -
CSL Elite WB 1.1
Formula v2 Wheel
Not able to do anything on XBOX, none of the controls work. Support said there is a known issue with some metal part on the back of the wheel, Fanatec is supposedly replacing this with a plastic part? I too have an $$$ paperweight :(
I installed this new driver today and I am not longer able to access the wheel control panel. I uninstalled the previous driver and restarted before the install. I have installed and repaired the new driver. I have restarted the computer multiple times, restarted the wheelbase multiple times, etc. I'm just stuck.
Please turn off your wheelbase, unplug the usb, run the repair function and restart you pc again. After that plug in your base and start it. This might help.
I followed the first quoted post and uninstalled the old driver. This was a mistake. Nearly broke the wheel then was undetected. Repair did nothing.
I recovered the v365 driver with system restore.
I then installed v372 without removing v365, restarting where prompted, etc. Still no device, repaired the driver, replugged the USB, restarted the PC, repaired driver a second time then it was detected.
I was able to update the wheelbase firmware to 674 from 672.
I updated the F1 2020 Formula wheel to 35. I will say the vibration function was active the whole time the wheel was in firmware update mode (it's normal now I've restarted).
I now do not have the wheelbase motor firmware showing (except in the OLED) it is still 22.
Overall the driver update seems really solid for me. Couple of minor issues with getting the wheel detected on the USB port initially but after that it seems really good in iracing. Solved my soft brake issue along with the wheel control panel not showing in Windows.
Will feedback more in the next few days - only slight disapointment is I would still like more road texture through the wheel. If Simlab can put it through my seat shaker then the driver must surely be able to transmit a bit more detail.
All in all though seems like a great step forward. Thanks very much.
@Nicholas, I had the same error come up. Reinstalled twice and tried loading it a few times and eventually popped up and has worked since. Hopefully it does for you too.
Running 6 on interpolation settings and 100% on FEI. Its not that its bad, just I think there could be a bit more detail.
Having seemingly improved it a bit by running the DD2 at 100% strength and reducing the FFB settings in iRacing.
Certainly not a complaint, just a bit of general feedback. As I say overall I am delighted with the DD2 and the new driver package seems to have really improved the feel of my CSP v3’s.
Thanks for the feedback - As I said I will keep playing with the drivers and give any other thoughts over the next few days.
Regards

Reduce INT and you gain a LOT of detail - for fun set INT to OFF... :D Off is not really recommended for daily use as its way too grainy and noisy but if you want road detail then this is the setting to reduce to get it as 6 is not what the Base actually is capable to deliver).
Have already done that :-D and as you say lots of detail particularly if you try a 100% FFB challenge (at my own risk - CHILDREN DO NOT COPY THIS IDIOT AND TRY THIS AT HOME).
Just trying to find a balance between INT and damping that provides that really great detail feedback without feeling to ‘grainy’.
Keep up the great work as the DD2, just keeps getting better and better.
This did resolve my issue. I used a different USB Port (2.0 vs SS).
Can someone confirm whether I need to have the wheel off the wheelbase to do a wheelbase FW update? I think I had read in past comments that that was the suggested procedure.
Comments
Yes they work... can you please read the changelog and some comments above your post... Thank you.
yes as you can see in the big changelog ^^
After my short test everything seams to work as described, DD1, F1 v2, BME, UHX
ITM works on DD1 and BME
new Fanalab is ok also
more test and feedback will come later

You should create a support ticket, yes (or create your own thread as its not an issue of the new driver 372 it seems)
I have started two tickets already but no help?
Then you just need to wait for them to reply and dont open multiple tickets, that just increases your waiting time.
Working so far for me with no jolts or freezes. FFB feels nice. If it doesn't freeze I will finally be happy with my new dd1.
This is my exact problem too
I have proceeded to change to another USB port, it did not resolve the issue.
I then tried a USB2.0 port, again didnt resolve the issue.
I then used a tool USBDeview which can be found in your steam install folder to remove all traces of the Podium wheel all past and present drivers.
I am now uninstalling all drivers. If that fails 😥
This Driver package did nothing to change my situation, I still own a $4000 Canadian, paperweight?
yes.
As said, wait for a reply from the technical support. They have lead times up to 7 days currently.

Repair has not worked, nor has unplugging and plugging the wheel.
Cheers, looks like a paperweight unless a system restore will fix what it broke!
Did you go step by step like written in the PDF? Have you tried other troubleshooting solutions of the PDF?
Why isn't this in the installation instructions?

I forgot to back up the wheel tune in SET 1 :)

Yes, try to reduce INT to like 2 or 3 and you will gain much detail! Like Maurice writes, even try it at OFF and see how grainy the FFB gets ^_^
