I have a fanatec CSL elite series wheel from 2019. With this update will i have the +5 option on my wheel? i ask this because my wheel is stiff even when im on 5. my only DRI options right now are (Off 1,2,3,4,5)
Yes the LED is in Red, and I don't have an XBOX wheel. I checked the manual for the CSL Elite and that even shows only a single device in Game Controllers. Again the button appeared in the previous driver version, and if I roll back I get the button back.

Do you really have a CSL Elite 1.1 and not the old CSL ELITE v1 with the mosaic pattern front?
Yea my WB looks like the picture on the box. With previous driver, firmware, etc. I have no issues, I was even able to swap between Motor Firmware 18 and 22 last week on the previous driver.
Yea I downloaded 336 from official downloads of the CSL 1.1, re-flashed to Wheel Base Firmware to 656 and Wheel Base Motor Firmware to 22. I'm going to uninstall, restart, re-install 372 and see what happens. I guess it could have been a bad flash of WB Motor Firmware, not sure.
Yea the Wheel Base Motor Firmware update is gone again after upgrading to the latest driver and WB Firmware. I've also never had 2 bases in my Game Controller properties, even with the previous version when my WB Firmware Update showed properly in the Fanatec Wheel Properties.
When i updated dd1 from 365 to 372 i got the same problem as thouse guys. After clean instaling 372 firmware update was ok but when i got to motor update the page from witch you update say device error and vanish;)
To bad i did not know about updated the Wireless Quick Release Firmware first.
My solution was uninstall the driver install again update the motor of dd1 and for my v2 wheel uninstall reinstall and update the wheel.
The rest atm is ok. FFb is nice, don't have jolts, latest fanalab works ok (I did not have these update problems with 365)
Having an issue where after accepting the pop up message to update the formula v2 rim the fanatec logo on the lcd screen just flashes and there is no driver update gui.
I'm back on PC Driver 365 with WB Firmware 672 and WBMF 22. I tried a previous version (327) that had WBMF 18 and I had the same issue as 372, the WBMF Update button was gone. I guess for now I'll stay on 365, I haven't had any issues with the Wheel Base just wanted to get to the latest for any improvements that were made.
The drift mode was updated to -5 to +3. I can't comment on the specific settings of your wheelbase, but what games do you play. It sounds strange, that your wheel feels really heavy. Usually values above 0 should even accelerate your wheel while turning.
I have Windows 10 Update 2004, I assume these have been tested with that? I'll try on another system I have without that update and see if I get two or not.
Yea that's what I was thinking as well. If I don't get the Motor FW update button back next time they update that FW then I'll revisit the issue. I appreciate all of your patience/assistance!
Finally the DD1 shows me what I expected from it. I had the driver 352 installed the whole time because I mostly use my ClubSport steering wheel GT with UHX.
After uninstalling the old driver and restarting my PC, installing the 372 driver was easy, the firmware updates were also displayed and carried out without any problems. My additional devices connected to the DD1, such as H-Shifter, V3 pedals and handbrake, were recognized immediately and work perfectly. My additional ClubSport Steering Wheel F1 2019 was also recognized immediately and works without any problems after the firmware update.
So far I have tested AC, ACC, RaceRoom Racing Experience (R3E), Dirt Rally and feel a significant improvement, although I was already satisfied before. With rFactor 2, I'm not sure, it feels kind of choppy, but I haven't tried changing the settings either.
All in all, I am very satisfied and my short-term concerns about having chosen the wrong manufacturer have been eliminated! 😉
Steering Wheel Model (product ID): F1 Black & Porsche
Driver Version: 372
Base FW Version: 674
Motor FW Version: 22
Wheel FW Version: No idea
The wheel makes a high pitch noise. When I put the wheel in a certain position it stops or dims the noise. When I pull the wheel upwards it also stops. 347 is silent

Tried the repair (along with a restart), still no button

Something is wrong in there... There base should show up twice on controller's page....
Are you sure you're in pc mode?
Not if he has the older CSL Elite WB.
Do you mean the Drift mode? What are your tuning menu settings?
Yes the LED is in Red, and I don't have an XBOX wheel. I checked the manual for the CSL Elite and that even shows only a single device in Game Controllers. Again the button appeared in the previous driver version, and if I roll back I get the button back.

I just checked my order and it shows CSL Elite Wheel Base V1.1, and below is the picture of the box
And your WB looks the same? Then there is something wrong with your WB.
Or the wrong wheel base firmware was flashed.. even though that SHOULD not happen...
Yea my WB looks like the picture on the box. With previous driver, firmware, etc. I have no issues, I was even able to swap between Motor Firmware 18 and 22 last week on the previous driver.
My drivers are 311 v629. i havent updated because that last time i updated my drivers i could calibrate my wheel.
my setting are :
Sen: 900
FF: 100
ABS: 0
DRI: 5
FOR: 100
FEI: 0
BRF: 0
FEI: 0
Can you please roll back to the previous WB firmware with an older driver, and try flashing the base again after installing driver 372?

Or the driver even selected the wrong hex file, which shouldn't even be possible... Did your base show up twice again in the property page?
Yea the Wheel Base Motor Firmware update is gone again after upgrading to the latest driver and WB Firmware. I've also never had 2 bases in my Game Controller properties, even with the previous version when my WB Firmware Update showed properly in the Fanatec Wheel Properties.
Sascha Kaymer do you have answer to my recent post? and my settings in my tuning menu

Nevertheless there seems to be something wrong with your wheelbase. You should see your base shown twice in the property page.

I was just told, that the CSL Elite WB+, the PS4 Version shows up as two devices. So it seems to be just right with your V1.1
OK perfect, that's good news, thanks for the clarification.
For now you could still use v372 and WB Firmware 674, as you don't need any Motor FW update atm.
Yea that's what I was thinking as well. If I don't get the Motor FW update button back next time they update that FW then I'll revisit the issue. I appreciate all of your patience/assistance!
Im going to run the 372 drivers and see what happens. Thanks
Great and thanks for that!
