if u want to go back to 346 youll need to download it from fanatec website. and in order to downgrade to 346 i believe youll need to uninstall the 365 beta.
Good morning, my story is not a happy ending))) By connecting the base to another computer, downloading firmware 346, I was able to update all the necessary elements that I could not update on the gaming computer, but the steering wheel does not see the wheel (((
Three questions:
1. At the base of the display there is a steering wheel icon and it blinks when the steering wheel is mounted on the base, what is the reason?
2. Hi Trq on my display shows low Trq, the key is installed in the connector, why?
3. When calibrating the motor, after several rotations, the axis stops with a groove under the steering wheel with a shift to the left, and not exactly in the middle, is this normal?
Dear forum users, maybe I found a solution to my problem with the fact that dd1 does not see my steering wheel. And this is firmware 352 beta. How it turned out, I downloaded firmware 346, after installation, the program recommended that I upgrade to version 352, which I did as a trusted amateur. Moreover, on the official site of fanateс, the product dd1, I saw that yes there is such firmware 352 beta, which strengthened my desire to update. Dear friends, I really ask you to help me how to roll back correctly or upgrade the firmware of my database !!! And take the steering wheel in your hands and start already setting records on the tracks with a beautiful fanatec in my hands !!!)))
Just installed updated my rig, CSW2.5 wheelbase, F1 2018 LE Rim, CSP V3 pedals, under Windwos 10 64-bit, to the latest driver version 3.65. Within the Fanatec Wheel Property Page the equipment is recognized, everything is set and calibrated. But..... by example in Project Cars 2 I can^t calibrate the wheel and trying to reassign the buttons, there is nothing recognized and no reaction whenever I click a button, paddle or anything else.
I have no clue and this never happened before. Under driver everything worked as expexcted and until yesterday. Even a restart of my rig and PC improves or solves anything into the wished direction.
Would be great to get inputs on that for a quick solving. Many thanks.
u might need to just clarify what driver you are on now... is it 352 and u wanna go back to 346? Each of the drivers have different FW as well... can you share this from ur Fanatec control panel?
Have a look under my documents and see if there is a PC2 folder... rename that... I know in AC/ACC there is one there and if I want to go back to defaults I rename that... but if windows (inc fanatec control panel) is recognising wheel and sim is not then issue is more sim related and you ask on the respective sim support forum :)
What I found for myself, in order for the base to determine my steering wheel, I had to roll back to version 328, this is the version that is recommended for this steering wheel. And oh, a miracle wheel earned on 328 firmware. But this firmware is old, the manufacturer and fanatec users recommend 346. I upgraded to 346 and the steering wheel is not visible again .......

Also, when installing a bmw steering wheel, the Steering wheel icon flashes on the base screen. All connectors are intact, I attach the photo.
why dont you downgrade to 346
will this be a solution?
yea if u want to be on the safe side, (of course 365 has better options linearity etc...)
I updated as you said, but there are no changes. Do I need to upgrade to 662 new firmware?

you have to press no, or just uninstall the 365 so you dont receive this popup message.
Thank you very much. according to the results, unsubscribe
so youre running the 346 update now?
Can you post a picture for us idiots? Thanks!! <3
Yes!
Tell me please
, I don’t have contacts in the indicated holes, is that right? Perhaps this is why the steering wheel does not see the base?
Please tell me, are these plugs lower in height than all the others?
For John Spanos, and anyone else who may find it useful.
I earthed my Rig to the PC.
i could have run the cable up to the DD1.
i have a Gt omega rig , had it for 10 years. i strengthened it for the DD1 wheel, came from a Cludsport 2.5
Note: the earth wire does not have to green/yellow, electricity does not care what colour it is!
3 pics
The pins are just like they have to be. Maybe those two additional connectors are for future products.

P.S.
1 - blinking pretty sure u have to calibrate the centre of the wheel (press 2 joysticks at the same time to get that going)
2 - possibly re-seat torque key?
3 - wheel won't be straight after FW update and u need to do step 1 to get it sorted...
Hope that helps :)
Thanks for the tips.
1. Do you mean joysticks indicated by arrows?
2. Well, I will do as you said.
3. Got it.
7.1.3 Wheel centre calibration 😊
Thank you very much🤝
nice setup, enjoy it
This may enter to OCD territory as I know that probably all the below options will work.
But there must be one ideal way of installing drivers. The one that would take the 100% approval of the Fanatec drivers Team😀
Brand new DD1 and a freshly formatted pc. What is the best option?
1) Install drivers with the wheel base disconnected. After installation plug the base, update firmware, attach the rim and calibrate
2) Install drivers with the wheel base disconnected. After installation plug the base with the rim already attached, update firmware and calibrate
3) Install drivers with the wheel base connected. After installation update firmware, attach the rim, and calibrate
4) Install drivers with the wheel base connected+rim attached. After installation update firmware, and calibrate
I will appreciate if you enter the motor firmware upgrade step on your chosen/preferred method
Thanks
